B&D Sponsoring, Attending ABA SEER's 2025 Spring Conference
B&D is a proud Legal Leaders Sponsor of the American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources (ABA SEER)'s 2025 Annual Spring Conference.
Principal Alyse Adamson (Washington, DC) will moderate a panel, "Environmental Criminal Enforcement in Uncertain Times: A Look at Recent Trends, Where We Are Headed, and How to Prepare!" on March 27. Associate Lindsey Selba (Baltimore) assisted in creating the panel's content. Amanda Bettinelli (Assistant District Attorney, Orange County District Attorney's Office, NY), Michael Fisher (Director, Legal Counsel Division, Office of Criminal Enforcement, Forensics & Training, EPA), and Steve Solow (Solow PLLC) will join Alyse as panelists. The speakers will discuss current trends in environmental criminal enforcement, and provide guidance on prepping clients for enforcement through compliance programs and risk management. Attendees will learn best practices for avoiding and defending against criminal enforcement at both the state and federal levels, and how these practices may change with the new Trump Administration.
Office Managing Principal Evynn Overton (Baltimore) is on the planning committee for the conference.
B&D will host a reception, co-sponsored by ABA SEER's In-House Counsel Committee, on February 20, in preparation for the conference. For more information on the reception, please contact [email protected].
