B&D Attorneys Edit and Author the Environment and Climate Change Chapters of Lexology's 2023 Getting the Deal Through

Beveridge & Diamond Principals James (Jamie) Auslander (Washington, DC) and Brook Detterman (Boston) are proud to serve as contributing editors and authors of Lexology's Getting The Deal Through: Environment & Climate Regulation 2023. This publication is a comparative guide of climate and environmental regulations, governing authorities, and trends in nine total jurisdictions worldwide.

In addition to Jamie, B&D Principals Drew Silton (Washington, DC), Ryan Carra (Washington, DC), and Nicole Weinstein (New York) authored the United States “Environment” section. The named authors of the United States “Climate Regulation” section, in addition to Brook, were Principals Aron Schnur (Baltimore) and Eric Christensen (Seattle). Brook, Aron, and Eric also authored the introduction to the publication.

“We are pleased to lead the editorial and writing efforts for Lexology's Getting the Deal Through during this pivotal time in environmental law. Countries around the world are focused more than ever on addressing issues related to climate change and adaptation, waste and circular economy, emerging chemicals such as PFAS, environmental justice, and a corporate and investor focus on environmental, social, and governance matters,” said co-editors Brook and Jamie. "This transaction-centric analysis provides a clear and concise summary of essential and emerging global climate and environmental issues for both corporate counsel and cross-border legal practitioners."
