Webinar: Women's Justice and Equality in the Workplace

Beveridge & Diamond's Women’s Initiative is pleased to present a webinar featuring American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Women’s Rights Project Senior Staff Attorney Gillian Thomas, author of Because of Sex: One Law, Ten Cases, and Fifty Years That Changed American Women’s Lives at Work.

During this presentation, Ms. Thomas will discuss ten civil rights cases that illustrate the efforts by working women to find some equality and justice in the workplace, from being hired in jobs once the exclusive domain of men to protection from sexual harassment and from discrimination for pregnancy. Ms. Thomas will also discuss recent cases being considered by the Supreme Court this term applicable to workplace rights.
