Latinvex

Latinvex has named Beveridge & Diamond Principal Maddie Boyer (Austin) to its 2021 "Top 100 Lawyer" list for Latin America, for the fifth year in a row. Maddie has also been named a Top Female Lawyer by Latinvex for seven years in a row. Maddie founded the firm's Latin America practice group and provides legal analysis, strategic assessments, and compliance counseling on a variety of issues arising under the domestic environmental, health, and safety regulations of most Latin American countries. Her work in Latin America also involves compliance support and project management on regional sustainability issues, including emerging chemicals, circular economy initiatives, and climate change.

Fluent in Spanish, Maddie received a post-graduate degree from La Escuela Libre de Derecho School of Law, Mexico's premier law school, where she wrote and defended a thesis on Mexico's hazardous waste and remediation standards. From 1988-1990, she served in the United States Peace Corps in Guatemala.

Each year, the editorial staff of Latinvex selects the top attorneys from international law firms that represent Latin American clients. The publication also named B&D to its list of the "Top International Law Firms" for Environment in Latin America in 2021. The Top International Law Firm ranking is based on a combination of factors, including value, prominence, and scope of work, as well as references among clients and peers.
