OSHA’s Heat Standard and Related State Plans | 2026 Occupational Safety and Health Webinar Series
In August 2024, OSHA issued a proposed rule for “Heat Injury and Illness Prevention in Outdoor and Indoor Work Settings.” The proposed standard is not yet finalized, and the latest public comment period (following an informal public hearing in July 2025) closed in October 2025. In this webinar, Principal Jessalee Landfried (Washington, DC) will discuss OSHA’s current approach to heat stress, key provisions under the proposed rule, and state-level requirements and proposals. Jessalee will also provide practical guidance on what employers can do now to strengthen heat‑illness prevention efforts, reduce risk, and prepare for potential new obligations.
There is no charge to attend this webinar, but advance registration is required. This series is intended for in-house counsel, EHS professionals, and business leaders at companies, municipalities, and trade associations. To request an invitation, please submit this form or contact [email protected].
