B&D Sponsoring, Speaking at NACWA Clean Water Law Seminar

Beveridge & Diamond is proud to sponsor the National Clean Water Law Seminar, hosted by the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA). The Seminar will take place in Austin, Texas from November 20 to 22, exploring the critical legal and regulatory issues impacting clean water utilities in addition to strategies to develop the best solutions for current and future legal challenges. Beveridge & Diamond is a member of NACWA, which is a leader in legislative, regulatory and legal advocacy on the full spectrum of clean water issues, as well as a top technical resource for water management, sustainability and ecosystem protection interests.

Principal Karen Hansen (Austin) will join the panel discussion "Climate and Resiliency: Legal Considerations," taking place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (CT) on Wednesday, November 20. The panel will discuss potential liability arising from the impacts of climate change and developing solutions to this new area of risk and responsibility.

Of Counsel Allyn Stern (Seattle) will join the panel discussion "The Ripple Effect of Regulatory Uncertainty: A Deeper Dive into the Challenges and Risks Posed by PFAS," taking place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (CT) on Friday, November 22. The panelists will provide the legal and technical introduction necessary to better understand PFAS, sources, and potential risks. 

Principal Tim Sullivan (Baltimore) will attend the conference.
