Jayni Lanham is an Associate in the Baltimore office of Beveridge & Diamond, P.C., with a general environmental, litigation, and regulatory practice.  Ms. Lanham has represented clients in litigation matters before federal and state courts involving various federal and state environmental laws.  Ms. Lanham has also advised clients on a variety of environmental laws and their state equivalents, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and the Clean Air Act (CAA).  In a pro bono capacity, Ms. Lanham has assisted clients with immigration matters, the administration of charitable trusts, and expungement proceedings.     

Ms. Lanham received her legal degree (J.D., magna cum laude) from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2008, where she was awarded a concentration in environmental law and served as a Notes and Comments Editor of the Maryland Law Review.  Ms. Lanham graduated from the University of Maryland in College Park in 2005 with a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy and a B.A. in Government and Politics. 

While attending law school, Ms. Lanham worked with the Maryland Office of the Attorney General at the State Highway Administration, the Maryland Office of the Attorney General at the Maryland Department of the Environment, and the University of Maryland Environmental Law Clinic.  Ms. Lanham also conducted research for University of Maryland School of Law Professor David Super regarding the impact of Hurricane Katrina on low-income and minority communities.  In addition, Ms. Lanham competed in the regional and international rounds of the Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition in Tampa, Florida, and had the opportunity to present her argument to students at the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, China. 

Ms. Lanham is a member of the Maryland State Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
