Julius Redd to Join IBA SEERIL Panel on Environmental Justice

Principal Julius Redd (Washington, DC) will join a webinar presented by the International Bar Association Section on Energy, Environment, Natural Resources and Infrastructure Law (IBA SEERIL) on recent environmental justice (EJ) developments through the lens of government actors, environmental NGOs and activists, and corporate leaders. The program will offer pragmatic ways that lawyers can help advance clients’ EJ goals mindful of the risks of decision-making that does not consider EJ initiatives and policies. Topics will include the evolution and history of EJ, the intersection of EJ with the rule of law, the relationship between EJ and climate justice, the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on EJ, and the way that EJ increasingly intersects with the practice of law and the development of projects.
