Leah's practice focuses on civil litigation in both state and federal courts and advising clients on regulatory matters arising under environmental laws.  Leah has handled litigation and regulatory matters arising under the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Clean Air Act (CAA), the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and state counterparts, and represented clients before state and federal regulatory agencies in environmental matters.  Leah has also assisted in numerous internal investigations and defended corporations and individuals against criminal charges of violating environmental laws.

Leah lives in and works from Nashville, Tennessee and represents clients before the Tennessee Department of Environment Conservation. She is a member of the Nashville bar, is active in the environmental section of the bar, and speaks regularly on environmental issues of interest to the regulated community. She has served as a past Chair and Vice Chair of the Committee on Innovations, Management Systems and Trading, a committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of the Environment, Energy and Resources (ABA SEER). Prior to law school, Leah served as an intern with ARCO Chemical Products in Brussels, Belgium.

Leah received her law degree from Vanderbilt University in 1997 and her B.A. from American University in 1993.  She is currently working on her PhD through the Vanderbilt Center for Environmental Management Studies.
