Brook's practice focuses on climate change and renewable energy.

Brook helps his clients navigate domestic and international climate change programs, develop renewable energy projects, and generate carbon offsets and reductions. He advises clients on negotiating, structuring, and implementing transactions related to carbon reductions and has supported the development and transaction of over $2 billion USD in carbon assets. He also supports clients during all phases of renewable energy projects, with experience in solar, wind, and biomass, with a focus on relevant regulations, incentives, permitting, and commercial agreements. Brook also represents clients on ESG issues, including achieving emissions reductions, launching low-carbon products, and complying with emerging disclosure and green marketing requirements.

Brook serves as Managing Principal of B&D's Boston office. Prior to joining the firm, Brook was an associate in the environmental department of a large international law firm; previously, he served as a law clerk at the U.S. Department of Justice, Environment and Natural Resources Division.
