Ben Wilson Speaking on Diversity & Inclusion during ABA SEER Community Discussion
B&D Chairman Ben Wilson (Washington, DC) will speak during American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources (ABA SEER)'s community discussion, "Addressing Inequality and Promoting Opportunity." The virtual event will take place on July 9 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. ET.
During the event, diverse leaders of the environmental, energy, and natural resources bar who are champions of inclusion and diversity will discuss their perspectives and experiences, with constructive suggestions and tangible ideas on how to encourage and support diversity efforts. The discussion will focus on how every attorney can be empowered to enhance diversity and inclusion in their practices, recognize and remedy bias in the workplace, and become champions of opportunity for all people. The program will conclude with a focus on how legal organizations such as SEER can play a heightened role in working to realize these important goals of equality and opportunity in our profession through heightened initiatives.
