Businesses should prepare for additional environmental enforcement in light of the recent confirmation of David Uhlmann as Assistant Administrator for U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)’s Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance and release of the agency's National Enforcement and Compliance Initiatives for 2024-2027. Combined with a return to inspections and "in the field work" as pandemic restrictions ease, these actions signal a continued uptick in the civil and criminal enforcement of environmental laws, with a particular focus on environmental justice concerns.

Led by Of Counsel Stephen Smith (Washington, DC), former EPA Region 4 Associate Regional Counsel, and others from B&D's enforcement practice, this program will provide insight into the agency's increased enforcement priorities and practical tips for maintaining robust compliance programs and proactively addressing areas of potential risk.

There is no charge to attend this webinar, but advance registration is required. This program is intended for in-house counsel, EHS professionals, and business leaders at companies, municipalities, and trade associations.
