Law360 quoted B&D’s Women’s Initiative Co-Chairs and Principals Heidi Knight (Boston) and Megan Morgan (Baltimore) in an article titled “What Mid-Law Firms Are Doing To Support Female Attorneys.” The article discusses how firms support female lawyers and attract and retain female talent.

We have found that providing flexibility and support to all lawyers and staff encourages retention and helps women achieve their professional and personal goals.”

Law360 named B&D one of the top 10  “Ceiling Smashers” for firms with 101 to 250 lawyers. “Ceiling Smashers” are firms with the highest representation of women in their equity partnership and are “charting a new course for the legal industry and taking steps to close the gender gap in the top ranks.”

Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) are core values and business imperatives at B&D. The firm holds Mansfield Rule 4.0 Plus certification, indicating that our firm considers women, LGBTQ+, minorities, and lawyers with disabilities for at least 30% of all significant leadership roles, lateral recruiting, and business development opportunities.
