B&D Elects New Principals Jeanine Grachuk and Mackenzie Schoonmaker

Beveridge & Diamond recently elected Jeanine Grachuk and Mackenzie Schoonmaker as Principals of the firm.

“We are delighted to welcome these two accomplished attorneys as Principals in the firm,” said Managing Principal Ben Wilson. “Each will serve important roles in servicing our growing environmental and litigation practices, and we thank them for their dedication to the firm and its clients. Women build successful careers in environmental, natural resource, and sustainability law at B&D and we are proud to continue this legacy with the election of Jeanine and Mackenzie.”

Jeanine Grachuk (Boston) maintains a practice that includes environmental compliance counseling, environmental permitting of energy and brownfields redevelopment projects, and advice on managing environmental risk in complex transactions. She has experience with environmental issues arising within a variety of industrial sectors, including power generation, chemical production, and solid waste disposal. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the LSP Association.

Mackenzie Schoonmaker (New York) helps clients nationwide navigate issues arising under the federal pesticides statute, FIFRA, the Clean Water Act, and related environmental laws. She currently serves as a coordinator of the National Association of Women Lawyers’ Energy & Environmental affinity group, and she coordinates efforts to advance and retain the firm’s women attorneys.
