B&D Elects 2026 Firm Leaders

Following a period of significant strategic growth, Beveridge & Diamond (B&D) announces its 2026 firm leadership, re-electing Marc Goldstein to a second term as Firmwide Managing Principal and appointing new office leaders across the firm.

B&D re-elected Marc Goldstein (Boston) to serve for a second term as Firmwide Managing Principal. During his first term, Marc led the firm in adding more than 50 lawyers across its seven offices over the past two years, including several senior government attorneys and the Barg Coffin team in San Francisco. In the coming term, Marc will continue to focus on implementing the Firm’s Strategic Plan, including evaluating the quickly evolving marketplace for legal talent, the implications for artificial intelligence in legal practice, and creating a sustainable model for law firm leadership.

Firm Chair Kathy Szmuszkovicz (Washington, DC), who has served in multiple firmwide leadership roles, completed her term as Chair and will continue practice counseling clients in the agricultural and biotechnology sectors on complex litigation and regulatory matters.

“On behalf of the Firm, I want to thank Kathy for her tireless service in so many roles. She has been the consummate leader, guiding us safely through the pandemic as Firmwide Managing Principal and positioning the Firm for continued success during her tenure as Chair. I am personally grateful her friendship and mentorship while we worked together in leading B&D,” said Marc Goldstein.

The firm also elected John Paul (New York) to its Management Committee, succeeding Loren Dunn (Seattle).

In addition, B&D announces the election of the following office leaders:
